Last year, Assemblyman Yee earned the top score among all San Mateo County legislators from the City/County Association of Governments of San Mateo County (C/CAG).
C/CAG, comprised of representatives from the 20 San Mateo County cities and the County itself, deals with issues that affect the quality of life including: transportation, air quality, storm water runoff, hazardous waste, solid waste and recycling, land use near airports, and abandoned vehicle abatement.
C/CAG based its scores on three areas:
Bills related to the protection of local government resources
Votes taken of C/CAG sponsored bills
Votes consistent with C/CAG's position on other bills.
C/CAG gave Speaker pro Tem Yee a score of 90 out of 100 for his work in the State Assembly. The next highest score, for Assemblymember Gene Mullin, was 79.
