Leland Yee believes we have a strong responsibility to take care of the generations that cared for us. He has advocated for laws to fight skyrocketing prescription drug costs, protect seniors from financial and physical abuse by caretakers, and establish new adult day health care centers around the state.

Assemblyman Yee has been recognized for his efforts by the Congress of California Seniors, which gave Yee its top rating for a legislator, 100%, for three consecutive years – 2003, 2004, and 2005 – and by the California Alliance for Retired Americans, which rated his voting record 100% on their 2005 annual scorecard.
