Leland Yee Responds to Attack Ad by Rose Pak/Ed Lee Campaign
SAN FRANCISCO – Since the latest investigations into voter fraud by the various Ed Lee campaigns, Senator Leland Yee’s campaign has been urging voters to not turn over their ballot to anyone and report any illegal activities to authorities. Yee issued the following statement after the Rose Pak/Ed Lee campaign ran a negative attack advertisement in Chinese language newspapers attempting to silence Yee’s effort:
“It is very disappointing that the Rose Pak/Ed Lee campaign seems to believe that the only way to elect a Chinese American mayor is with voter fraud. I strongly disagree. My campaign stands by our attempts to ensure that all laws are followed in this election, and we will continue to advise all voters to NOT give their ballots to the Ed Lee campaign if they are requested to do so, because it is illegal, unethical, and just plain wrong.”
