Californians have first-hand experience with the kind of corporate fraud committed by Enron and other companies that nearly bankrupted our state. Assemblyman Yee has been a strong voice to make corporations liable for the actions and encourage and protect employees when they blow the whistle on fraud and abuse.

  Supported law which makes a corporation liable for civil penalties of up to $1 million if it had knowledge of illegal acts and failed to notify shareholders and the attorney general or appropriate government agency.
